The Company implements demolition, rehabilitation, and closure activities in accordance with NSW regulatory requirements, approved rehabilitation plans, and community oversight, with the aim of delivering safe, stable, and non-polluting landforms suitable for agreed post-mining land use.

Infrastructure demolition and decommissioning are integrated with earthworks rehabilitation to reduce long-term environmental liabilities and enhance landform stability. Progressive rehabilitation focuses on erosion control, surface water management, and revegetation using native species consistent with local ecosystems. Approximately 68% of the total disturbance footprint is under progressive rehabilitation, and monitoring confirms stable landforms and compliance with water quality criteria.
