Since 2018, Banpu has been committed to fostering a strong safety culture through regular assessments of safety culture maturity across our operations. These assessments serve as a key mechanism for enhancing safety standards and promoting proactive safety behavior organization-wide.

In 2025, we conducted a re-assessment at the Zhengding Power Plant in China, which achieved an “Cooperating” level, reflecting continued progress in strengthening a proactive safety culture. To date, 18 sites across 4 countries have participated in the safety culture assessment. The Company remains committed to expanding the program’s coverage and further elevating safety culture maturity to ensure a safe and sustainable working environment across all operations.
